The CERB FAQ was updated to note that the Government of Canada encourages workers who are able to return to work to do so, provided it is reasonable based on their individual circumstances. However, it notes that there has been no change to the rules which would require individuals to return. Workers are not eligible if they quit voluntarily.
VTN Note: Rules which would have required individuals to return to work were included in Bill C-17, however, the Bill was not passed before Parliament recessed for summer.
