The following comment has been added to the CERB FAQ:
“Employers who wish to increase their employees weekly earnings while they are unemployed have the flexibility to top-up CERB benefits up to this amount in lieu of a SUB plan. However, individuals who receive income from employment, including top-ups, in excess of $1,000 over each four week period for which they claim the CERB would have to repay CERB amounts they received for the same benefit period.”
